So, you have already identified that you are struggling, and you have observed that you are emotionally triggered. You have committed to not act or decide until you come into a state of calm and centeredness. Now what? Here I offer Step 2 for approaching personal challenge from a place of rooted resolution. This step is about nurturing your needs, going inward, and processing the various stages of thoughts and emotions in an effective manner. By facing your emotions head-on, and not pushing them aside, you are taking clear direction to open up to view the root cause of your disturbance. It may not be easy, yet I have personally found this "sitting stage" to be quite effective in avoiding projections, and coming into personal ownership. Sitting, nurturing, and contemplation lays the groundwork for Step 3: clear & grounded insight and action.
